ICTS currently has an opening for a full-time calibration technician. ICTS prefers candidates to have a minimum of 4 to 5 years of training and background in the field of calibration. ICTS services electrical/electronic test and measurement equipment, physical/dimensional measuring instruments and process control instrumentation.
Candidates should have experience operating and using calibration standards to perform calibrations, such as, multifunction electronic calibrators, frequency counters, precision multimeters, function generators, oscilloscopes, high voltage meters, resistive, inductance and capacitance standards, current devices, process calibrators, pressure standards, torque calibrators, gage blocks, micrometers, and calipers, to name a few.
Candidates should be familiar with using calibration standards to calibrate the following types of equipment:
Digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, frequency counters/generators, resistance meters/devices, hipot testers, digital power analyzers, current clamp meters, temperature meters/thermometers, power supplies, micrometers, calipers, height gages, indicators, pressure gauges/transducers, torque tools, process control equipment, etc.
Candidates should understand calibration quality standards and procedures, such as ISO/IEC 17025 lab accreditation standard.
Must have experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must be able to develop and write calibrations procedures when required.
Knowledge of calibration data base and automated calibration software used for calibration, such as Fluke Met Team/MetCal data base software.

Must have good troubleshooting skills to at least board level replacement.
Must work well and respect non-technical and technical staff as a TEAM.
Must have and exhibit good customer service, self-initiative, and motivation to maintain productivity and leadership.
Must be able to follow directions and respect authority well.
Must be able to communicate professionally with customers and vendors via phone, e-mail or in person, even in difficult situations.
Must be able to travel locally or overnight for on-site services at customer facilities. This position will require as much as 50% travel for on-site services.
Must have a good driving record, no criminal background and good punctuality.
Must be able to work overtime hours when required.

After a 90-day probation period, the candidate will receive the following:
10 days Paid Personal Time Off – This is used for vacation and sick time
9 Paid Holidays and 1 Personal Holiday
Company will pay up to $500 for employee medical insurance only. Any amount over $500 the employee will be responsible for the cost. A payroll deduction will apply per pay period.
Starting pay will be dependent on candidate’s qualifications and experience.
Pay range: $15.00 - $25.00/hour
